Silver Creek Cottage paint colors

One thing I get asked about pretty often over on my Instagram account is all about our paint colors and what we have used throughout our home, Silver Creek Cottage. I thought it would be fun to go room by room and source out all of the details.

We’ll start in the space that welcomes us home ever single day, our mudroom.

The mudroom has gone through so many different looks in the past two years.

The look of the mudroom now, will be here to stay for a long while because, the paint color I picked has to be one of my all time favorite colors. The paint is called French Gray Linen by Glidden

and the wallpaper is from my friends at I Want Wallpaper.

Next we’ll talk about the main spaces, the living room, the dining room and the kitchen.

I knew for these spaces I wanted a good bright white. White is clean, and can really make a room look and feel spacious.

The color I picked for these spaces is White Semi-Gloss Interior Paint by Glidden. This semi-gloss paint is absolutely amazing, while it is easily wipeable (what we needed here on the hobby farm) it doesn’t have a high shine like other semigloss paints I’ve used in the past. We are now currently painting our basement in this very same color.

Now let’s talk about our kitchen cabinet color.

For the kitchen I wanted a paint that was durable for high traffic areas so, I picked my all time favorite paint from Fusion Mineral Paint in the color Champlain. Let’s move on to the bedrooms, from the master to the kid’s spaces they are all painted with the same exact paint, Ultra Pure White Satin Interior Paint by Behr

While we have gotten so much done in our fixer upper, we still have a ways to go. I’ll be sure to get an updated post done as the work continues.
